• 2013 interoperability topics (to result in whitepapers)
  • GEOLabel update
  • Discuss work and timeline for registration alternatives

    • Still have question about what catalog services the Clearinghouse can harvest, and how the DAB relates to the CSR
      • DAB harvests GEO Clearinghouse, which harvests CSR
      • Catalogs registered in CSR that are not CSW-based (eg, OAI-PMH, OPeNDAP) do not get exposed to the DAB by the Clearinghouse
      • It is desireable to have consistent metadata from data providers for registration, ie, via DAB, via CSR
      • Using a DAB client (eg, http://www.eurogeoss-broker.eu/), can see list of resources available. We need this list to be exposed within the GEO Web Portal
      • DA: need to have Doug Nebert involved in this discussion; we continue to question and guess about the detailed architecture
      • [ACTION] SB will talk with Doug Nebert in next week and incorporate answers to questions in the googledoc
